  • Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

  • Patient Ratios: 1:2 (sometimes 3 if they are step down patients or Peds patients)
  • Unit staffing description: RN's only - no CNA's or Unit Secretary
  • Type of equipment: Ventilators, central lines, art lines, alaris pumps
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Scheduling requirements: schedule 1 month at a time
  • Floating policy: will float to other units if PICU is low census
  • Weekend Requirement: 50% weekends depending on needs
  • Patient Experience requirements: looking for previous PICU experience, trauma & burn preferred
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have advanced skills: experience with ventilators, high flow, chest tubes, IV placement, experience with central lines, urinary catheter placement, NG placement, trach care
    • Certifications Required: PALS, BLS
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: rotating
      • Scheduling requirements: schedule 1 month at a time
      • Weekend Requirement: 50% weekends depending on needs
